From the Desk of the New CEO

Dear Board of Directors of AMT and ICBT,

I am writing to first express gratitude to all of you for considering me to be the successor for our beloved Dr. Verda Thompson as the new CEO of American Mission Teams and International College of Bible Theology.

I’ve had the privilege of meeting most of the Board while traveling with Dr. Thompson throughout the past 8 years.

I have been part of ICBT as a student since 2004 from my Associate’s to my Doctorate in Theology.

My wife and I worked closely with Dr. Thompson since 2014 when she moved to California.

Dr. Thompson became a great mentor to both of us during the 8 years we had together, during which time, she shared her vision and mission where I got to understand her passion for education. It has been a great honor working closely with her until her passing and going home with her Lord. She was not just a great mentor but also became part of our family.

I made a promise to Dr. Thompson that I will do my best to honor her desires and continue with the vision she was given by the Lord. Just never imagined that I would become her successor. I also make all of you this same promise as God is my witness, that I will continue what the Lord started with our beloved Dr. Thompson. I will also be working closely with her daughter Dr. Teresa Sansfacon as she will continue to be the CFO and office manager.

In closing, I also want to take the time to thank you all for your faithfulness as members and support to American Mission Teams and what it stands for. In the weeks to come I will be contacting each of you directly but in the meantime always feel free to contact me if you should have any questions or if I could be of any assistance to you.

As Dr. Thompson would say in her final words in her letters which hold true today, we need your continued prayers and financial support. Seek the Holy Spirit as to what your part would be in your support of AMT-ICBT.
